Berks County Parks Trail Ambassador

Description

Park Trail Ambassadors are the 'boots on the ground' on our trails and in our park spaces. Ambassadors walks trails, answer questions about points of interest, give directions, keep our trails clean, and are a physical presence on the trail.  They can report safety issues to park rangers and staff, and inform visitors on park hours, ordinances, and rules.

Must be able to walk the trail and be present in the parks.
Agency Will Provide
The Parks Department supplies vests, gloves, trash pickers, and log sheets to Trail Ambassadors, along with information and contact information at self-serve areas in the park.  This opportunity is at the volunteer's leisure.
