Please join us for a Day of Caring in Angelica Creek Park.  Be prepared to be outside helping with tasks such as gardening, mulching, invasive plant removal, and cleaning up litter.

We are in need of some assistance with weeding, mulching, and general upkeep of our outdoor areas. Some other duties include cleaning up trash on the property, raking leaves, etc. LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED! Feel free to bring your own gardening tools, but the agency does have some gloves.

Dayspring is looking to refresh several areas of our Hazel home with a fresh coat of paint. The project includes painting a high accent wall behind the TV, repainting the back hallway, and touching up several doors and trim that have become scuffed and marked from everyday use. These updates will help create a brighter, more welcoming environment for our residents.

Join us for a clean-up of our historic site and trails.  We will be breaking into groups to go along the trails, near the creek to pick up sticks and cut back brush and in select buildings to clean.

Our friends at IHartHarvest donate thousands and thousands of pounds of farm fresh potatoes every year to distribute to our neighbors! The kicker is, we need help bagging them for distribution; and that's where you come in!

Help us protect and improve our Oakbrook Club by creating a stone drainage bed alongside the building. This project will help direct water away from the foundation, reduce erosion, and improve the appearance of our outdoor space.

Volunteers will:

• Lay landscape fabric
• Spread and level stone along the drainage system
• Help create a clean, finished landscape bed extending from the corner of the building partway up the hill

🧤 What to Bring:

• Work gloves
• Rakes and shovels (if available)
• Wheelbarrows (helpful, but not required)
• Closed-toe shoes

Donated Materials Needed:
We're also seeking donations of landscape stone to help make this project possible. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated and will have a lasting impact on our Club.

Join us for a rewarding volunteer day at our Clinton Street Club as we prepare for the new school year! We're looking for volunteers to help with a deep indoor cleaning so our Club kids can return to a fresh, clean, and welcoming space.

Projects may include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms and activity spaces
• Wiping down tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces
• Deep cleaning bathrooms
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Tidying and organizing common areas
• Cleaning the gym and other shared spaces

Don't worry—we'll have cleaning supplies available on-site if you need them.

A little elbow grease goes a long way, and your time will help create a healthy, welcoming environment where our Club kids can learn, play, and thrive all year long!

Come spend your Day of Caring in the great outdoors at Rock Hollow Woods! Enjoy the crisp fall weather as you 'get your hands dirty' during our volunteer day activities. Plans involve preparing one of our pollinator gardens and planting native flowers to create a sustainable ecosystem. Other plans involve hiking, clearing trails, and placing directional signs in preparation for an upcoming 5K Trail Run (September 26th - mark your calendars!).

Rock Hollow Woods has 67 beautiful acres that are used for programs, and you can make a difference by helping. Many hands make light work! (Volunteers attend 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., but can stay through 3:00 p.m. if they contact Rock Hollow Woods ahead of time)

Help us create a welcoming environment for survivors and their families by spending the day beautifying the outside space of Safe Berks. Volunteers will assist with mulching, planting flowers, weeding garden beds, trimming shrubs, and general landscaping to enhance our outdoor spaces.

No landscaping experience is necessary. Whether you have a green thumb or simply enjoy working outdoors, your time and effort will make a meaningful difference for the individuals and children who rely on our services.

Assist the Circle of Friends program by helping prepare meals for adults participating in the program. Volunteers will work alongside staff with meal preparation and kitchen tasks to help ensure meals are ready for participants.

Help enhance the appearance of our office by cleaning up and planting new foliage in the front and side landscaping beds. Volunteers will assist with preparing the planting areas, planting new landscaping, and refreshing the exterior of the building.

Help keep CHOR's program vehicles clean and ready for daily use by washing exteriors, vacuuming interiors, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, and removing trash. These vehicles are used to transport and support the children, youth, and families we serve.
