Kitchen Dishwasher

We have an immediate need for individuals who would be interested in training to fill in as substitutes when any of our dishwashers are unavailable. There will be many days in the coming months where we will need dishwashing assistance.

Dishwashers volunteer from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Basic duties include cleaning and rinsing dishes, pots, pans, plates, etc., and running them through the dishwasher. Then after the items dry, they are placed back on the shelves. At the end of the shift, the dishwasher wipes down the dishwashing area and dish machine.

Meals on Wheels Runners & Drivers

We are looking for volunteers to deliver for Meals on Wheels. This could be someone who only drives, only runs, prefers to do the route alone, or do it as a small group with friends/coworkers! Meals go out between 10:40-11:00. You can return as soon as 11:30 or as late as 12:30 depending on where you are delivering. We deliver within the Boyertown Area School District. Routes could go to Boyertown, Gilbertsville Bechtelsville, Barto, Hereford, parts of Oley, parts of Douglassville (Pottstown addresses) and the surrounding area that is within the district.

Kitchen Volunteers and Meals on Wheels Packers

Volunteers are needed to assist with the preparation and clean-up of hot meals served to the members of the Center at Spring Street (a program of Boyertown Area Multi-Service) and to our Meals on Wheels clients Monday through Friday. The volunteer hours for kitchen help are 8:30am to 1:30pm, and for Meals on Wheels Packing are 7:30am to 12:00noon.
