The American Red Cross of Berks County provides programs and services to approximately 412,778 residents. As one of 13 chapters that makes up the Northeast Pennsylvania Region, we are located in the heart of the Centre Park Historic District, situated next to Centre Park and one block south of the Berks County Historical Society. Our Chapter provides food and shelter in emergency and disaster-related situations, assists members of our armed forces and their families, teaches lifesaving skills and so much more. Each year, our Chapter partners with Channel 69 News to recognize local Berks County heroes at our Heroes Breakfast Awards ceremony. The American Red Cross is a charitable organization, not a government agency. We depend on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform our mission. To make a donation, click here.
