 for Girls on the Run? We are looking for volunteer Head or Assistant Coache
 s for our Girls on the Run season. When you volunteer as a coach for Girls 
 on the Run, you can make a difference in the lives of girls in our communit
 y Social-emotional learning is the cornerstone of our research-based lesson
 s, designed specifically for the challenges that 3rd-5th or 6th-8th grade g
 irls face. With your help, we can support girls in learning the important c
 onnection between body and mind.\n\nOur program centers around fun and acce
 ssible physical activity, ensuring we are strengthening physical - as well 
 as emotional - health. Through a simple online training course, you will ga
 in access to all the resources you need to lead a small group of girls in d
 eveloping important life skills and healthy habits. It is our goal to ensur
 e you are comfortable and equipped in supporting girls during these difficu
 lt times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Coaching a season requires a commitment 
 of attending practices once or twice a week for 8 weeks starting in mid-Sep
 tember for our Fall season and mid-March for our Spring season. You will le
 ad a team through fun and interactive lessons. \n\nOpportunity Type: Indivi
