DESCRIPTION:Opportunity: Teen Program\nAgency: Big Brothers/Big Sisters of 
 Berks County\n\nTeen is a program for clients already accepted in our agenc
 y (One-To-One or COUL), ages 13 and older, matched or unmatched. The progra
 m is designed to teach adult life skills, and helps our teens prepare for t
 he decisions they will need to make after graduation. High school graduatio
 n is our primary goal for Teen, which meets at least once a month in a grou
 p form. This program is unique in that the activities are planned and coord
 inated by a Teen Executive Committee comprised of at least five (5) teenage
 d Littles and three (3) adult advisors.\n\nLike the Littles, volunteer Bigs
  wanting to participate in Teen need to be accepted as either a One-To-One 
 or COUL Big.\n\nOpportunity Type: Individual\nLength of Type: Ongoing\nRequ
 ired: You must be accepted as a One-To-One or COUL Big to participate in Te
 en.\nSupplied: All costs associated with the Teen activities are assumed by
  the agency (i.e. snacks/food, any admission fees, etc.).
