Shady Hollow Assisted Riding, a United Way grant recipient, provides a nurturing equine environment on its 90-acre farm, offering assisted riding, day camps, and events tailored to individuals with various emotional, physical, and intellectual needs. Their innovative vocational program, Harnessing Hope, in collaboration with Alvernia University's Occupational Therapy Program, aims to equip young adults with essential life and vocational skills through hands-on experience at the farm.

ELU members will be partnering with them prepare their garden beds for summer. If rain is in the forecast for the day, we will be working on an indoor project.Children ages 10 and up are welcome to participate.
